About Anna Marie
Anna Marie Braun is a Tallahassee native who grew up in Betton Hills and graduated from Leon High School in 2011. After her time as a Lion, she moved to Atlanta to attend Oglethorpe University. At Oglethorpe, Anna Marie studied communications while competing on the NCAA DIII volleyball team as a standout outside hitter earning all-conference accolades 4x. After undergrad, Anna Marie earned her Masters in Sport Administration at Georgia State and began her collegiate volleyball coaching career. She served as head coach at Agnes Scott College and most recently, her alma mater Oglethorpe University. At Oglethorpe, she turned the program from low-ranking team to a top 3 conference contender within two years. Her coaching highlights include being the first coach to lead the Oglethorpe team to beat a nationally ranked opponent, earning SAA Coach of the Year in 2021 and finishing 3rd in the SAA Conference Championships.
In the summer of 2024, Anna Marie moved back to her hometown of Tallahassee with her husband and three sons. Since moving back she has engulfed herself in the Tallahassee community – joining Grace Church of Tallahassee, coaching volleyball throughout the city and earning her real estate license. She has a passion for delivering quality results with integrity and diligence. Anna Marie’s love for the local community, her gritty “coaching mindset” and professional experience make her an excellent match for anyone buying or selling in the Tallahassee market.
